During this initial time of connection, if you choose to work with me, I will inform you of my fees. I normally keep a small number of hours available to see people at a reduced rate based on the situation in my practice and the individual’s need. INSURANCE While I am not on any managed care, HMO, or PPO plans, I do provide my clients with a monthly written statement with the necessary information which they can submit to their insurance for reimbursement when available. Many of my clients who choose to use their insurance are reimbursed between 30 and 80 percent of the cost of sessions. CONFIDENTIALITY Privacy is a basic right of anyone seeking psychotherapy. As such, information pertaining to your therapy is confidential and legally privileged. CANCELLATION POLICY Sessions for psychotherapy are usually 50 minutes in length. Once we agree on one or more regular times per week, I will reserve those hours for you and expect payment for them. If you inform me at least 48 hours in advance of planned absences, you will not be charged for those sessions.
